Tax year: 2026/27 No sign-up required

Pay and PAYE details

These fields improve the estimate for bonuses, overtime, tax codes and pay-period deductions. PAYE tax-code calculations remain annual estimates rather than exact cumulative payslips.

Supports standard L codes plus BR, D0, D1, 0T, NT and K codes as annual estimates.

Pension and salary sacrifice

The treatment differs by pension method. Salary sacrifice can reduce both Income Tax and employee NI; net pay generally reduces taxable pay but not NI; relief at source is deducted from take-home and basic-rate relief is added by the pension provider.

Loans, allowances and other deductions

Important: This calculator provides an estimate based on the information entered and the selected tax year. Actual PAYE deductions may differ because of your tax code, payroll period, benefits, previous pay, earlier tax deductions, HMRC adjustments and individual circumstances. The calculation does not constitute personalised tax or financial advice. Employee NI is modelled for standard category A. Exact cumulative PAYE, directors’ NI and unusual NI categories require payroll-specific data.
